RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds allow you to directly access our online library resources from any compatible reader such as Google or Yahoo.

This allows you to view on one page the latest additions to all your favourite sites. Using a reader, you can have your own page where West Cheshire College library resources sit side by side with news on your favourite soap or football team.

iGoogle and My Yahoo will help you to set up a personalised home page with RSS feeds:

iGoogle - Click on Add stuff and then Add feed or gadget
Paste: http://library.west-cheshire.ac.uk/online-resources3.xml into the box - click Add and then Back to iGoogle home and links to the West Cheshire College online resources will appear on the iGoogle page.

My Yahoo - Click on Add content and then Add RSS Feed.
Paste: http://library.west-cheshire.ac.uk/online-resources3.xml into the box - click Add and then I'm done and links to the West Cheshire College online resources will appear on the Yahoo page.

There are many other readers you can use if you prefer.
