Not very long ago, a library was a place where people went to borrow or to consult books or to read or study by themselves after lectures. Although you will still find a quiet place in which to study, in today’s library the environment has changed.
Alongside the books you will find computers, DVDs and magazines, offering additional sources of information. The whole area is flexible and resource-based.
The term ‘library’ no longer covers the scope of what we have to offer. The name, ‘Learning Centre’, reflects the active nature of learning today.
